SmartFinancial in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Customer Success Manager 1 to grow a book of 100+ active accounts, build strong client relationships, and optimize performance on our insurtech platform. This entry-level, in-office role focuses on relationship-building, solving problems, and achieving measurable results.

You’ll re-engage customers, identify growth opportunities, and aim for higher monthly spend while advancing to more senior CS roles for high performers.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in a client-facing role (customer success, sales, or account management).
• Proven ability to hit KPIs and performance metrics.
• Experience with insurance agencies or marketplace businesses is valued.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time in-office (6am-3pm PST).

Responsibilities

• Grow a book of 100+ active accounts and increase utilization.
• Win-back inactive or low-spending customers via dialer.
• Review lead performance, pricing, targeting to maximize value.
• Help customers improve cost per acquisition, ROI, and retention.
• Own account relationships and be a reliable contact.
• Address questions and objections using standard CS processes.
• Deliver best-in-class onboarding and ongoing support to hit goals.
