Job summary

Moritz in New York is seeking a founding counsel to join as a founding team member—not just as legal counsel, but as a core partner in shaping our product and growth in the US.

You will lead attorneys and clients, own practice areas end to end, build and refine our offerings, and design scalable workflows with the founding team to drive product adoption and growth while providing strategic guidance on commercial matters as we scale.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience at a leading law firm, tech-scale up or enterprise companies.
• JD and active license to practice law in the US (non negotiable).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about building something new.
• Genuine interest in AI and legal tech.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team-lead managing attorneys and clients.
• Own practice areas end to end.
• Build, test, and refine our products and offerings.
• Partner with the founding team to design scalable legal workflows that drive product adoption and growth.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial or corporate matters as we scale.
