Moritz is a global AI-native law firm delivering same-day turnaround on complex deals. We are building a founding team in the US to shape product strategy and corporate growth from San Francisco.

The Corporate Counsel will lead end-to-end corporate work, refine templates for financings and transactions, and partner with the founding team to design scalable legal workflows for rapid product adoption.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience at a leading law firm for technology companies or in-house at a major tech company or startup.
• Expert in corporate law with venture financings, M&A, and formation/governance.
• JD and active license to practice law in New York or California (non-negotiable).
• Based in San Francisco.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building something new.
• Interest in innovation, AI, and legal tech.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead for corporate work, shaping product strategy and go-to-market approach.
• Own corporate legal work end to end: financings, M&A, formation, governance documents.
• Build, test, and refine US product from a legal perspective with templates for financings and transactions.
• Partner with founding team to design scalable legal workflows that drive product adoption and growth.
• Provide strategic guidance on US corporate, governance, and transactional matters as we scale.
