Phonely in San Francisco is seeking a storyteller to own how we present ourselves and what people remember about us on every touchpoint. You will craft narratives from real phone-line moments and publish them with speed and clarity.

You’ll build the systems behind the output, guiding AI tools, and directing shoot, edit, and publishing workflows. This on-site, founders‑level role offers equity and rapid growth.

Qualifications

• A body of work created independently
• AI-native production habits
• Comfort on camera without a script
• Strong self-editing and storytelling instincts
• Range across production: shooting, editing, publishing

Responsibilities

• Own the public voice: what we sound like, what we talk about, and what people remember us for.
• Publish constantly: start at 5 to 10 pieces a week and ramp beyond competitors.
• Build the system behind the output: taste, tools, workflows.
• Mine the tape for stories from real phone lines and push fast to channels.
• Run the whole chain: concept, shoot, direct, edit, publish, reply.
• Put the right people on camera: you, engineers, reps, founders, or customers.
• Figure out channels: start with LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, then expand to buyer platforms.
• Turn shoot days into paid creative assets for growth teams.
• Learn from engineers, reps, and customers closest to the work.
• Represent Phonely outside the office at launches and events.
