Job summary

Ulvior is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and ship AI agents that support clinical documentation, patient follow-up, and care coordination across the patient journey. The role requires strong software fundamentals, comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to work across the stack with a user-centric mindset.

You will own projects end to end, shape architecture and engineering standards, and collaborate with practices to translate complex care workflows into reliable software.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production deployment experience.
• Ability to turn ambiguity into a practical, reliable product.
• Experience building with LLMs, agents, or applied ML, or evidence of rapid learning.
• Sound judgment about reliability, security, privacy, and human oversight.
• Willingness to work across the stack and stay close to users.
• Experience in healthcare, fintech, payments, developer infrastructure, or early-stage startup is relevant.
• Build and ship AI agents that support clinical documentation, patient follow-up, and care coordination.
• Own projects end to end: understand the problem, design the system, ship it, and improve it based on feedback.
• Build the infrastructure that makes agents dependable, including integrations, tool use, evaluations, monitoring, and human review.
• Work directly with practices to turn complex care workflows into usable software.
• Shape our architecture, technical standards, and engineering team as we grow.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI agents that support clinical documentation, patient follow-up, and care coordination.
• Own projects end to end: define problem, design system, ship, and iterate based on feedback.
• Develop infrastructure for agents, including integrations, tool use, evaluations, monitoring, and human review.
• Collaborate with clinicians to translate complex care workflows into software.
• Help shape architecture and engineering standards as the team expands.
