Job summary

Elsevier's Wellsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer AI Agents to own end-to-end agent features from prompts to UI. You’ll work on real-time EHR integration and the next-gen clinical AI experience, collaborating across squads to deploy measurable improvements in production.

You'll apply TypeScript and Ruby, own design through rollout, and help build eval coverage to prove value. The role is in the US with a focus on delivering clinically impactful software to hospitals.

Qualifications

• Possess current software engineering skills with TS and Ruby experience.
• End-to-end ownership from backend to UI.
• Ability to measure impact with eval coverage.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own agent-powered features end to end: prompts, orchestration, backend, and UI.
• Take loosely specified ideas through design, implementation, and rollout.
• Build and extend eval coverage for shipped features.
• Develop new ways for agents to present results and interactive views.
• Improve the synthetic data simulator and tooling.
• Collaborate across squads with Product to land features.
• Ship improvements to production agent features and own the surface.
