Job summary

CS Recruiting is assisting a seed-stage freight technology startup in locating a Founding Account Executive located in multiple US markets. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, generating pipeline, and leading product demos for freight-forwarding customers.

International travel may be required as the company scales. The candidate will close high-impact deals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with SDRs in New York and Toronto while ramping to $600K ARR in Year 1.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
• At least 12 months of experience as an SDR or BDR selling into mid-market accounts.
• Demonstrated top-quartile performance against pipeline generation or quota goals.
• Strong outbound prospecting experience across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
• Generate the majority of your own pipeline via outbound channels.
• Lead discovery calls to understand customer freight operations, challenges, decision process, budget and timeline.
• Demonstrate products via tailored demos for freight forwarders.
