Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
ClosedWon Talent is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to own new logo acquisition and manage each landed account for at least the first year. The sale is consultative and multi-stakeholder, with short to medium cycles and expansion within accounts after initial placements.
Your ICP includes AI-driven tech and cybersecurity companies, growth-stage software firms, and regulated enterprises that invest in talent and services. Expect uncapped commission and a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
Our client is solving one of the hardest problems in tech right now: creating AI-native and cybersecurity talent rather than fighting over the existing pool. They recruit experienced developers and high-potential career changers, put them through an intensive, full-time, paid training program (investing roughly $100K per person), and then deploy them to customers as their own employees on multi-year engagements.
Screening is extremely selective; one recent cohort screened 10,000 applicants and hired six. Because placed engineers are signed to 24–36 month commitments and the company handles replacement and upskilling if a customer's needs change, customers get long-term stability that traditional staffing can't offer. All placements are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, which matters to their regulated and government-adjacent customers.
The company has about 500 employees globally and is now building its U.S. business. Customers include Island, CyberArk, and OASIS, and existing accounts are already asking for more people than the current pipeline supplies. One recently placed team cleared a 90-day ramp in four days and has since come back for more, with plans to grow to 20 seats next year. Customers love what they provide and they are growing quickly.
This is the first Account Executive. A BDR team lead was just hired to feed qualified meetings, and you'd work directly with an experienced CRO with a deep background in enterprise SaaS along with a successful exit from a similar business so he knows this world well.
You'll own new logo acquisition and then own each account you land for at least the first year. The sale is consultative and multi-stakeholder: qualifying is straightforward (if they're hiring for these roles, there's an opportunity). New logos typically close in three to four months, and accounts usually add people within the following two to three months once the first placement proves out.
Your ICP is companies up to roughly 1,000 employees: organizations investing heavily in AI, companies in regulated markets that need cybersecurity and compliance talent, and growth-stage tech and cybersecurity companies hiring customer-facing technical roles from support through SEs and FDEs.
This is not a role where you'll go after F100 accounts - there's a priority on closing more logos, faster rather than one large logo that has a 12-18 months sales cycle.
Commission is uncapped, and there's an additional bonus for landing bespoke deals where training is built around a specific customer team.
