Job summary

PKF-Mark III, Inc. in Newtown, PA, seeks an experienced Foundation Manager/Superintendent with 10+ years in heavy civil projects, including bridges, deep foundations, drilled shafts, and marine facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, meticulous planning, and a steadfast commitment to safety on site. You will lead field crews, manage budgets and schedules, review job cost, ensure QA/QC, coordinate with subcontractors, and advance projects from foundation to completion while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in heavy civil with foundations.
• Ability to meet fast-paced schedules and shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA/QA/QC practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews with leadership skills and direct tasks.
• Ensure all tasks meet safety standards and quality.
• Provide forepersons with tools and materials for safe, productive work.
• Monitor subcontractor progress and manage budget/schedule expectations.
• Understand project specs related to your work items.
• Track productivity and costs for assigned tasks.
• Apply QA/QC to ensure high-quality work.
• Oversee all construction activities on the project site.
• Anticipate and respond to changes and challenges.
• Submit required paperwork, submittals, and material tracking.
