PKF-Mark III, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent with 5+ years of experience to supervise multiple field crews and subcontractors on complex bridge, roadway, and utility projects in the Newtown area.

The ideal candidate shows strong initiative, excellent planning and problem‑solving, effective interpersonal skills, and a unwavering commitment to safety, QA/QC, and schedule/budget control on site. Local candidates within 100 miles preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a heavy civil superintendent.
• Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, QA/QC, and field safety.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and valid driver’s license.
• Experience with local projects within 100 miles of Newtown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct field crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety standards and site compliance.
• Provide resources to field supervisors for safe and productive work.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and QA/QC processes.
• Maintain paperwork, submittals, material tracking, and document control.
• Prepare weekly safety reports and manage manpower.
