Job summary

Groundworks, North America’s leader in foundation solutions, seeks a Service Technician who blends technical know-how with consultative sales to help homeowners. You’ll meet homeowners, assess needs, present proven systems, and earn pay plus commissions while backing products with industry training and a national brand.

Travel to customer homes, build relationships, and expand service offerings post-installation.

Qualifications

1+ years of proven sales experience preferred.
Construction/Home Improvement experience preferred.
Proven customer relations experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Execute appointments scheduled with customers.
Travel to customers' homes per assigned appointments.
Build long-term relationships and professionally represent the company.
Recommend additional products and services to enhance or improve original installation or to remedy a potential issue through established processes.
Perform annual customer maintenance visits, examining work previously completed.
Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix issues.
Install additional products purchased by the customer as necessary.
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when carrying out responsibilities.
Examine solutions installed by the company and determine warranty work.
Communicate the status of each job and submit necessary documentation to the Service Manager and customer.
