Job summary

Child Mind Institute in New York, NY seeks a Foundations Relations Officer to lead strategy and management of a foundation portfolio, driving philanthropic revenue and expanding the funding pipeline. You will cultivate and steward relationships from identification through renewal, partnering with leadership across departments.

This exempt, full-time role requires in-office work at our NYC headquarters. You will develop proposals, reports, and donor communications while coordinating fundraising

Qualifications

• Lead fundraising plans for a portfolio of foundation partners and secure five-, six-, and seven-figure contributions.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward funders to build long-term partnerships.
• Expand the foundation funding pipeline by identifying new prospects and aligning opportunities with priorities.
• Develop compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and donor materials that communicate impact.
• Collaborate with programmatic, finance, and leadership to develop funding strategies and ensure grant stewardship.
• Maintain knowledge of the philanthropic funding landscape and emerging opportunities.
