Job summary

Upbring seeks a Foundation Relations Specialist to build and manage relationships with family, professional, and corporate foundations, securing funding for agency programs. You will identify funders, develop strategies, submit proposals, and oversee foundation stewardship.

In collaboration with the Grants & Funding Opportunities Manager and VP of Development Operations, you will plan, organize, and execute a comprehensive fundraising program to meet goals and objectives, while cultivating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3 years of fundraising experience in nonprofit settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with foundations to secure funding.
• Plan and execute a comprehensive fundraising program to meet goals.
• Lead management of foundation portfolio with regular visits (virtual or in-person).
• Research and write proposals for programs and expansion; handle restricted/unrestricted funds.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for foundations.
• Coordinate foundation site visits, tours, and donor events.
