Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, nonprofit management or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of similar administrative, financial, nonprofit, accounting or program coordination experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle financial transactions and confidential donor information with discretion.
• Strong clerical, administrative and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative, program and operational support to the GECU Foundation and assists with day-to-day operations.
• Processes Foundation financial transactions (checks, deposits, ACHs, invoices) and maintains records in Financial Edge/Blackbaud, Stripe, DonorCharm and Kadince.
• Monitors accounts and assists with reconciliations and campaign reporting.
• Prepares materials for annual financial statement audits and coordinates audit materials with the Foundation’s CPA.
• Oversees governance records, board packets and minutes for Foundation Board administration.
