Job summary

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Foundation Coordinator to provide project and operational support for internal and executive communications and annual giving initiatives.

The role spans communication calendars, leadership and board presentations, donor relations, and event coordination. The position is Monday–Friday, hybrid, with opportunities to collaborate across BJC HealthCare and Washington University Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in administrative or donor relations roles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain files, schedule meetings, assist with projects, and manage office supplies.
• Manage donor and prospect database, enforce security policies, and oversee online donations.
• Collaborate on donor cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship initiatives.
• Coordinate communications across the foundation and align with hospital marketing.
• Plan and support staff and volunteers for Foundation events, coordinating solicitation activities.
