Front Range Community College seeks a Foundation Controller to provide financial leadership, fund management, budgeting, and audit oversight for FRCC Foundation. You will oversee ~240 fund accounts and lead annual budgeting with strong internal controls across multiple Colorado campuses.

The role requires collaboration with Foundation leadership and College Finance, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and donor stewardship for long-term sustainability. Some travel to campuses is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, audit, fund management, or nonprofit financial management.
• Experience managing a significant portfolio of restricted, endowed, designated, or comparable fund accounts.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial/accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for budgeting, auditing, and reporting.
• Strong organization and project-management skills for annual budget, audit, and reporting calendars.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary financial lead for ~240 Foundation fund accounts, tracking balances and restrictions.
• Lead annual budgeting with revenue/expense projections and scenario modeling.
• Monitor budget-to-actual results, cash flow, fund balances, and variances.
• Prepare timely financial statements, dashboards, and board-facing reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain internal controls and policies to safeguard Foundation assets.
• Ensure compliance with donor restrictions, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
• Provide financial information to leadership to support stewardship and funding decisions.
