Job summary

Front Range Community College (FRCC) seeks a Foundation Controller to provide financial leadership, fund management, budgeting, and audit oversight for the FRCC Foundation. You will oversee approximately 240 fund accounts and collaborate with College Finance, the Executive Director, and the Foundation Board to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires managing the annual budget, ensuring donor intent compliance, and coordinating with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, audit, fund management, or nonprofit financial management.
• Experience managing a portfolio of restricted, endowed, or board-designated funds and interpreting donor restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund management for approximately 240 Foundation fund accounts, ensuring accurate balances and spending parameters.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasts, and fund-level planning in collaboration with Executive Director and VP for Finance & Administration.
• Coordinate audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and support audit readiness across Foundation operations.
• Maintain internal controls and risk management, ensuring segregation of duties and proper documentation.
• Prepare financial statements, dashboards, and analyses for leadership, Finance Committee, and Foundation Board.
