Job summary

FRCC Foundation is seeking a Foundation Controller to provide financial leadership, fund management, budgeting, and audit oversight across approximately 240 foundation accounts. The role reports to the VP for Finance & Administration and requires travel to multiple campuses while supporting on-campus operations.

The position emphasizes strong internal controls, donor-restriction compliance, and coordination with external auditors to ensure ongoing financial sustainability and regulatory

Qualifications

Experience applying nonprofit fund-accounting principles to foundation reporting.
Proven ability to lead external audits and manage audit findings.
Knowledge of governance, budgeting, and donor-restriction compliance.
Strong understanding of controls, risk management, and financial procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead fund accounting for ~240 foundation accounts, ensuring donor restrictions and expenditure rules are followed.
Oversee annual budgeting, financial statements, dashboards, and fund reports for executive leadership and board.
Design and monitor internal controls across financial workflows and responsibilities.
Coordinate with auditors, College Finance, and external partners to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
