Job summary

CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) in New York is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead outreach and follow-up to recruit adults interested in becoming Foster Parents and to support the planning, development, and implementation of activities to certify foster parents for NYC and Westchester Foster Care Programs.

You will promote CMCS foster care programs at community events, build networks with colleges, agencies and recruiters, and maintain tracking of outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Child Welfare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective foster homes for Family Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care programs in NYC and Westchester.
• Promote CMCS foster care programs at community events and networking opportunities.
• Attract applicants by networking within the community, through our existing foster parent population, placing foster care advertisements; contacting and negotiating with recruiters, etc.
