Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries in Texas seeks a Permanency Specialist to assess needs, develop permanency plans, and coordinate efforts to secure stable, loving homes for children in foster care. You will partner with families, foster parents, and other professionals to advance each child’s permanency goals.

You will conduct home visits, advocate in court, maintain case records, provide crisis intervention, and support placement stability while adhering to agency and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in SW/psych or related field with 1–2 years' experience.
• Experience in child welfare, foster care, or adoption services is a plus.
• Knowledge of laws/regulations in child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Meet the individual needs of children in foster care and assist caregivers to provide a stable and loving home.
• Advocate for the best interests of children in foster care, collaborating with legal and court systems, ensuring timely court appearances, and providing necessary documentation for court hearings.
• Collaborate with social workers, therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive support network.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services to maintain placement stability.
• Maintain detailed and accurate case records and provide 24-hour on-call support when required.
