Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensing and Training Specialist in the Foster Care Department to recruit, train, and license foster parents. You will provide pre-service training, assess candidates, and guide them through licensing, ensuring compliance with state and agency requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet credentialing standards for the program (NC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent written and oral communication.
• Must pass drug screening and extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and license foster parents; provide pre-service training; assess and guide through licensing; submit licensing docs to state and agency.
• Maintain compliance; provide quarterly supervision/assessment; keep audit-ready files; support foster placements with the team; assist in public speaking and marketing to recruit families.
