Job summary

South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking a CWS Case Manager - Foster Family and Licensing Support to ensure timely processing of foster family applications and home studies across assigned regions.

You will promote safety and well-being by adhering to policy, participating in case reviews and training, and coordinating with county staff and external partners. A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences is required, plus driver’s license and fieldwork readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in any other field requires one year of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accountability of foster family applications and home studies through case consultations, coaching, and training.
• Maintains licensing duties including home visits, assessments, and processing paperwork for foster home licensure.
