Job summary

Necco invites applications for a Foster Care Case Manager who will collaborate with children, foster parents, and school staff to support permanency goals. The role involves placement, intake, assessments, treatment planning (ITP, CTS), coordinating services, and acting as liaison with agencies.

You will work in office, community, school, and foster home settings, travel as needed, conduct reviews, attend meetings, monitor compliance and documentation, and promote safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• Current LSW or LPC or Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field (OH, KY, GA)
• Bachelor’s degree with field experience of 2 years (WV)
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (TN) with at least 7 hours in behavioral sciences
• One year of casework experience can be substituted for the 7 hours
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with children with emotional or behavioral problems
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to travel and attend training
• Successful completion of required training pertaining to job

Responsibilities

• Participate in referral matching for children and families
• Develop Initial and Comprehensive Treatment Plans
• Complete assessments (Biopsychosocial, Independent Living, Diagnostic)
• Refer foster child to support services
• Ensure documentation and safety plans before placement
• Develop Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP) and monitor progress
• Coordinate with foster parents and agencies
• Meet state licensure regulations and protect confidentiality
• Provide training and support to foster families
• Deliver services in multiple environments including in-home and community-based settings
• Travel between locations as essential functions of the position
• Participate in on-call rotations and document activities
• Maintain and review medication logs and discharge planning
• Engage in team meetings and CAP processes
