Job summary

HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) is seeking a Program Support Specialist to assist the MATCH program and Baltimore City Department of Social Services. You will coordinate medical and dental appointments for children in foster care, ensure timely scheduling, and maintain documentation with healthcare providers.

The role involves managing case records in our internal systems, handling communications, and acting as a liaison between healthcare, social services, and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with significant human services experience.
• 2 years of experience working in an administrative support capacity with a multidisciplinary team. Experience working within substance abuse recovery population preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical, dental and other specific exams for children in out of home placement/foster care for the youth in the Baltimore City Department of Social Services (BCDSS)
• Communicate with key stakeholders to facilitate healthcare coordination
• Provides information that is culturally competent and responsive to the diverse socioeconomic needs of the client population
• Perform clerical duties for the MATCH Management Staff
