Job summary

Necco seeks a Foster Care Program Director to lead the program with a focus on profitability and growth. Using the Scorecard, you will drive strategic initiatives, supervise staff, and ensure program quality and regulatory compliance.

You will develop budgets, marketing plans, and operational processes while maintaining thorough documentation and timely reporting across all areas of the program.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Human Services field with at least two years of experience in WV, KY, OH
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with two years in human services, at least one year in child welfare (WV)
• Master’s Degree required or waiver process (GA)
• Master’s degree with one year paid experience or DCS waiver (IN)
• Master's degree in social work and two years’ experience in foster care or adoption services, or three years with related field substitution

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight for the program and staff
• Ensure financial stability and increase program capacity
• Develop budgets and monitor fiscal soundness of services
• Develop business and marketing plans and improve internal processes
• Monitor administrative and clinical paperwork and ensure timely reporting
• Oversee authorizations and referrals; maintain contact with review entities
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational, supervision, billing and census reports
• Ensure compliance with state/local reporting and confidentiality requirements
• Maintain staff training, orientation and development
• Promote Necco policies and corporate culture across the program
• Drive Balanced Scorecard results and data-driven initiatives
• Oversee staffing placement and home assignment processes
