Job summary

Necco seeks an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment and retention strategies nationwide, guiding licensing processes, training, and compliance for foster care homes. This role drives engagement with communities, manages CRM data, and ensures timely responses to inquiries.

Responsibilities include planning recruitment, leading certification and home studies, and supporting the Necco corporate culture through diligent, data‑driven practices across locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or related field or equivalent training
• 2+ years’ experience in human services
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Successful criminal background checks and travel willingness

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: lead and manage annual plan, build community relationships, track leads in CRM
• Certification: oversee state licensing processes, home studies, and foster parent approvals
• Initial Training: manage foster parent training and indoctrination to Necco culture
• Corporate Citizen: provide rotating on-call advisory to foster families and maintain documentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio)

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in social work or related human service field

Board of Regents degree with human service concentration

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Behavioral sciences coursework (7 hours) or equivalent experience

2+ years’ experience in the human services field

Auto Insurance Coverage and valid driver’s license
