Job summary

Judson Center is seeking a GROW Coordinator in Dearborn, MI to support foster/adoptive families through training coordination and onboarding. The role guides referrals, schedules panelists, and maintains training venues while building professional relationships across the state.

The position requires evening/weekend availability, travel across Michigan, and a strong focus on organization, communication, and program fidelity.

Qualifications

Experience in adoption, foster care, or child welfare preferred.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Valid Michigan Driver’s License with proof of appropriate auto insurance.
Ability to pass Central Registry Clearance and background checks.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout Michigan.

Responsibilities

Coordinate referral and registration for foster/adoptive/kinship trainings in the region.
Contact referrals by program deadlines and build rapport with families.
Document contacts, referrals, and reporting information.
Network with child welfare professionals to recruit panelists for GROW training.
Schedule panelists and ensure panels are filled per the curriculum.
Locate training venues and coordinate with venues on schedules and access.
Coordinate with trainers to schedule all training courses.
Be on call in evenings and weekends to resolve issues and ensure trainings run smoothly.
Assist management to ensure fidelity of the GROW curriculum.
Maintain inventory of training supplies and materials.
Provide clear and supportive communication; offer back-up support to staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
