The South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking a CWS Case Manager in Orangeburg County to support foster care services and concurrent planning within the Child Welfare area. You will collaborate with the Child and Family Team to develop individualized permanency plans and ensure safety, permanency and well-being for children and families.

You will engage families and professionals with empathy, maintain careful case records, and participate in legal processes when required.

Formación

• Requires degree in Social Work or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in child welfare or social services is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Foster Care caseload in line with DSS policy.
• Collaborate with Child and Family Teams to develop permanency plans.
• Monitor safety, permanency and well-being.
• Conduct initial safety assessments using FAST.
• Maintain case records per policy and ensure timely documentation.
• Participate in legal proceedings when needed.
• Provide on-call coverage as assigned.
