South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Manager - Family Preservation. The role focuses on safety assessment, case planning, and coordinated services to protect children and strengthen families in South Carolina.

Responsibilities include engaging families, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with legal entities to promote timely permanency and service referrals. A social work background is strongly preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science required.
• Bachelor's Degree in any other field with 1 year related experience acceptable.
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science may substitute for required experience.

Mansioni

• Performs case management in the Child Welfare area of Family Preservation.
• Conducts ongoing safety assessments and plans least intrusive interventions.
• Maintains and updates FAST/Family Advocacy and Support Tool and develops Family Permanency Plans.
• Engages families and professionals with empathy; coordinates with absent parents and kin.
• Documents case activities thoroughly according to policy and GPS Practice Model.
