Job summary

The Case Aide worker promotes the safety, permanency, and well-being of children in foster care and out-of-home care by facilitating home finding with safe and stable families under the Department’s policy. The role supports home studies and the PATH system, serving inquiries from the public, ICPC, and kinship studies across West Virginia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete background checks.
• Enter and update provider information in PATH.
• Provide support to Home Finding staff during the Home Study process.
• Maintain Home Study Request Inboxes.
• Process Caregiver Payments.
• Assist Department Home Finding Supervisor as needed with entering SNS referrals for contracted home studies.
