Job summary

Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois is seeking a Case Aide to establish cooperative relationships with Treatment Foster Care families through regular visits and direct/indirect services.

This non-exempt role may require evenings, weekends, and travel to high-risk communities. Responsibilities include supervising visitations, maintaining SACWIS records, and coordinating with community resources to support clients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience with children and families preferred.
• Training in child welfare practices and relevant certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel through high-risk communities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with Treatment Foster Care families through regular visits.
• Assist in supervised visitations and provide supervision during visits.
• Evaluate client needs and provide guidance during parent/child visits to improve areas of concern.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the SACWIS system and other documentation.
• Collaborate with community resources to connect clients with housing, healthcare, and education services.
• Provide transportation to clients and caregivers for appointments and visits.
• Represent clients' needs to referral sources and agencies.
• Attend mandatory trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
