The Foster Care Case Aide supports the regional child welfare team's efforts to keep children safe and facilitate family reunification through transportation, documentation, and supportive supervision.

The role emphasizes collaborative work across programs, transportation management for participants, and ongoing mentorship and leadership development opportunities within a hybrid work setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to program participants for appointments such as family time visits, counseling, medical and home visits.
• Make regular reports to Specialists on all cases and provide written documentation to Supervisors on all contacts with participants.
• Provide supervision and assess interactions between the child and other parties during family time visits; model/teach appropriate parenting skills and non-physical discipline.
