Job summary

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions in Illinois is hiring a Program Billing Coordinator to accurately track and process billing for foster care and intact family services, ensuring proper reimbursement. This role supports data collection and documentation required for billing within these programs.

Responsibilities include submitting placement documents, coordinating with DCFS, handling monthly statistics in myEvolv, and communicating with Accounting to meet DCFS policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2 years experience in related field.
• Child Welfare Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and submit 906 placement documents and work with DCFS to correct placement errors.
• Process packets from CAPU for new cases in coordination with Intake Specialist.
• Track and submit all case transfers or closures internally and externally.
• Update and maintain database software for accurate placements and billing.
• Track and submit documentation for Foster Care purchases reimbursed/billed through DCFS (159s, 1042s, 906/906-4s).
• Coordinate with CYFS Specialist on SPEC approvals and reapprovals for accuracy.
