Job summary

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions (CYFS) is hiring a Program Billing Coordinator to accurately track and process billing for foster care and intact family services. You will ensure proper reimbursement and support documentation for billing within these programs.

Typical duties include submitting placement documents, coordinating with DCFS, and maintaining caseload trackers. A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2 years related experience required.
• Knowledge of DCFS processes preferred.
• DCFS Foundations Training is required for licensure.
• Three years driving experience with valid license.
• Must pass DCFS background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Submit all 906 placement documents and correct placement errors in SACWIS.
• Process CAPU packets for new cases with Intake Specialist.
• Track transfers and closures; maintain placement databases.
• Maintain accuracy of foster care/billing records and purchases.
• Prepare and submit documentation for DCFS reimbursements (159s, 1042s, 906, 906-4).
• Coordinate with Accounting and child welfare staff to meet billing needs.
