Veritus Agent is building the first fully AI-native voice agent platform for consumer lending and collections. We’re a YC-backed team with leadership from Best Egg, PayPal, Divvy, and Lending Club—on a mission to modernize legacy call centers with real-time AI agents that drive higher conversions, lower costs, and better borrower outcomes.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help scale our AI voice agents as we move from product-market fit into rapid growth. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role responsible for translating real-world requirements into production Voice AI agents.

You’ll work closely with customers, sales, and engineering to:

• Translate customer‑specific requirements and compliance constraints into robust, testable logic
• Write tools and backend integrations that allow agents to interface with external systems (APIs, CRMs, payment platforms, etc.)
• Tune latency, responsiveness, and voice quality using platforms like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram
• Design A/B tests to optimize business outcomes and regulatory adherence

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• A proven track record of building software in TypeScript or Python
