Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Forward Deployed Engineering. You will lead an embedded team on-site with customers, owning strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for deployed solutions. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical depth, and the ability to drive rapid, customer-centric impact.

You will navigate enterprise realities, collaborate with executives, and scale field learnings into durable improvements for Epicor's core platform. Travel ~20–40% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined product management and engineering experience.
• Hands-on with rapid prototyping in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or C#.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Direct customer-facing experience with executives.
• Experience integrating software in enterprise environments (APIs, data pipelines, SSO, cloud).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering team, building and growing the group.
• Own the product and multi-year roadmap, turning field work into reusable features.
• Define the operating model for engagements, from discovery to deployment.
• Stay technical and hands-on, prototyping when needed to maintain momentum.
• Lead discovery with strategic accounts to uncover high-value problems.
• Coordinate with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and field teams.
• Drive go-to-market, pricing, packaging, and ROI models based on customer value.
