Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to provide technical leadership on the Identity Platform. You will read, review, and make design calls in client environments, balancing build vs. buy decisions and driving architecture direction.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on work within the last 24 months, including prototyping or design review.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the technical design for engagements and defend decisions.
Review implementations and prototype when needed to settle questions.
Set engineering direction and review code on engagements.
Reverse-engineer identity work in client environments and design improved solutions.
Make build-versus-buy calls and document rationale for future reference.
Prototype against emerging standards and contribute reference implementations.
Grow engineers by mentoring and hands-on collaboration with the team.
