Accenture Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Identity Platform, is a technical leadership role where you may not code daily but will read, review, and make design calls based on how the system actually works. In client environments, you set direction, review code, and decide what to build versus buy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on work within the last 24 months.
• 4+ years of development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 4+ years designing distributed systems in production.
• 3+ years deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers and CI/CD.
• 2+ years technical leadership of at least 2 engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or 12+ years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements, including decisions you'll be held to when they're wrong.
• Review implementations critically and prototype in the agentic stack when fastest to settle a question.
• Set the technical direction for engineers on your engagement and review their code.
• Reverse-engineer how identity works in a client environment and design what it should be.
• Make build-versus-buy calls and document why for project continuity.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas, often before documentation exists.
• Build the reference implementations and technical content that define the practice.
