Overjoy is an AI-native sales company for SMBs. We began as a sales platform for consumer brands, then expanded to running the full sales process end-to-end and selling the outcome.
Every consumer brand needs a wholesale department: someone to find the right retailers, reach out, close the account, and keep it reordering. For most brands that department is too expensive to hire. Overjoy runs it for them with people, AI agents, and the software we spent years building for exactly this job.
Over 800 brands like Nature's Path, Milk Bar, and Simply Gum use Overjoy to grow wholesale revenue.
We're backed by Bessemer, OSV, Floodgate and founders of Thumbtack, CareRev, Ando, and Unsupervised — and 6 of our own customers invested after using the product.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in New York City.
Growing wholesale revenue creates new financial decisions: how much inventory to buy, which accounts are profitable, and how to fund the next stage of growth. You'll work directly with consumer brand founders and finance teams to turn those decisions into a dependable planning process.
You'll own financial models, forecasts, and decision support for customer engagements, and work alongside Overjoy's product and engineering teams to turn repeated analysis into reliable AI-assisted workflows. This role calls for a senior finance operator who can explain the numbers, challenge assumptions, and build the process behind them.
Lead customer discovery to understand business drivers, financial systems, reporting gaps, and the decisions that matter most.
Build and maintain integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow forecasts, including rolling cash forecasts and scenarios for growth, hiring, and inventory investment.
Analyze customer, channel, and SKU profitability, accounting for trade spend, deductions, returns, fulfillment costs, and payment terms.
Reconcile source data, document model assumptions, and turn actual-versus-plan results into clear recommendations for founders and finance leaders.
Design and test AI-assisted reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting workflows with engineering; validate calculations and keep material financial decisions subject to human review.
Own delivery and adoption across customer engagements, measuring reporting time, forecast accuracy, and visibility into working capital; turn recurring needs into reusable models and product requirements.
6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance consulting, with ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial models.
Strong command of financial statements, working capital, cash forecasting, and unit economics; advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Experience supporting consumer brands, retail, wholesale, or another inventory-intensive business.
Ability to work with imperfect accounting and operational data and explain financial tradeoffs clearly to non-finance leaders.
Hands-on use of AI or automation to improve a financial workflow, with a disciplined approach to checking accuracy.
Experience with systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or planning platforms; SQL, BI tools, or scripting experience is a plus.
Annual base salary of $180,000–$220,000 USD, based on relevant experience and role-related skills.
Health, dental, and vision insurance (U.S.).
Free lunch.
The opportunity to shape a new role at the intersection of domain expertise, customer outcomes, and AI.
