Overjoy in New York City is seeking a senior, hands-on Logistics Analytics lead to own customer logistics analysis and operational improvements. You will map order-to-delivery, identify cost drivers, and collaborate with 3PLs, carriers, and retailers.
Work with engineering to apply AI in tracking and exception handling, measure on-time delivery, and drive cost reductions while communicating clearly with executives and frontline teams.
Overjoy is an AI-native sales company for SMBs. We began as a sales platform for consumer brands, then expanded to running the full sales process end-to-end and selling the outcome.
Every consumer brand needs a wholesale department: someone to find the right retailers, reach out, close the account, and keep it reordering. For most brands that department is too expensive to hire. Overjoy runs it for them with people, AI agents, and the software we spent years building for exactly this job.
Over 800 brands like Nature's Path, Milk Bar, and Simply Gum use Overjoy to grow wholesale revenue.
We're backed by Bessemer, OSV, Floodgate and founders of Thumbtack, CareRev, Ando, and Unsupervised — and 6 of our own customers invested after using the product.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in New York City.
Wholesale growth depends on getting orders to the right place, on time, at a cost that makes sense. You'll work directly with consumer brands to improve how orders move through warehouses, carriers, distributors, and retailer receiving networks.
This is a senior, hands-on role with ownership of customer logistics analysis and operational improvement. You'll investigate the causes of delivery failures and avoidable costs, coordinate fixes with operating partners, and work with engineering to make shipment monitoring and exception handling more effective with AI.
Map order-to-delivery processes and establish reliable views of order status, shipment milestones, freight costs, and fulfillment performance.
Analyze carrier, lane, warehouse, and service-level performance to identify delays, avoidable expedites, accessorial charges, and freight invoice discrepancies.
Coordinate with customer teams, 3PLs, carriers, and distributors to resolve exceptions and improve operating procedures.
Investigate retailer chargebacks and delivery failures, including routing-guide, appointment, labeling, and advance shipping notice issues.
Build cost-to-serve analyses and test transportation or fulfillment changes with clear service and cost tradeoffs.
Work with engineering on AI-assisted tracking, document checks, alerts, and case triage; measure on-time and in-full delivery, cost per order, claim recovery, and exception resolution time.
6+ years in logistics, transportation, fulfillment analytics, or supply chain consulting, with ownership of operational improvement projects.
Experience with consumer goods distribution, wholesale fulfillment, retail delivery requirements, and 3PL or carrier relationships.
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to reconcile order, shipment, invoice, and warehouse data.
Familiarity with transportation and warehouse management systems, ERP data, EDI, and common shipping documents.
Ability to translate analysis into operational changes and communicate clearly with customer executives and frontline teams.
Experience using AI or automation in operational workflows; SQL, BI tools, freight procurement, or international logistics expertise is a plus.
Annual base salary of $150,000–$180,000 USD, based on relevant experience and role-related skills.
Health, dental, and vision insurance (U.S.).
Free lunch.
The opportunity to shape a new role at the intersection of domain expertise, customer outcomes, and AI.
