Job summary

Striim is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead real-time data integration projects for enterprise clients, spanning pre-sales discovery through post-sales success. You will architect solutions, write code, and ensure production-grade performance across distributed systems.

You will partner with Sales, Field Engineering, Product, and TAM teams, traveling up to 50% to build trusted relationships, deliver measurable business value, and influence product directions at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles or equivalent
• Deep hands-on experience with production-grade data pipelines and integrations
• Strong multi-cloud architecture and deployment capabilities
• Proven ability to own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sales to post-sales
• Excellent communication translating complex tech to business value

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end real-time data pipeline implementations using CDC, Kafka and related tech
• Architect multi-cloud data solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure
• Build connectors and production-grade systems using Java/Python; design APIs and pipelines
• Optimize Kubernetes deployments for performance and cost in production
• Mentor customer engineers and conduct deep-dive technical sessions with stakeholders
