Whop Inc. in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Platforms (US) for on-site collaboration with product and customers. You’ll own end-to-end integrations, read customers’ code, and ship solutions quickly in real environments.

# Forward Deployed Engineer, Platforms (US): Brooklyn, NY: Growth: Full time: On-site## The MissionOur mission is to deliver everyone a sustainable income. Right now 50,000 users make money on Whop every month, and this year users will earn over $5B. We will not stop until 1B people every month are making money on Whop.## Who We're HiringWhen sales closes a platform or marketplace deal that needs payments moved onto Whop, you take it off the AE and drive the integration to done. You sit between the customer and product. The custom work is yours, not core eng's.What the job actually is:* You run every integration like a project. Status, next step, and timeline are always clear, written down, and current.* You get into the customer's codebase, do what it legitimately takes to ship, and get out. You are not there to live in their repo or become their engineer.* You are comfortable when the product or the API has a hole. If we don't have something, you break the gap down and fill it in a way that works for every customer after this one, not a one-off.* You answer fast. A real reply in about 30 seconds is the standard, not a stretch goal.* You are a top-class engineer. You can read their code, sit with their eng team, and ship without a translator.Backgrounds that fit:* Founder / ex-founder who built and integrated payments or marketplace infra themselves (or made 7 figures shipping product), OR* Customer-facing engineer (FDE, Solutions Eng, Founding Eng) with years shipping with customers — API/automation/integrations fluent, OR* Technical operator who can write code, live in Cursor/Claude, and sit with platform eng teams without a translatorIf you only want to write tickets for someone else to build, this isn't your role.How We WorkOur culture is built on the premise that people should be given budget to take large bets, have full agency, and move fast as f\\*ck.
