A strong candidate has at least 3 years of shipping integrations, is comfortable with APIs, webhooks, authentication and messy data, and can talk with operations managers and IT teams in plain language. The work continues after launch, with monitoring, fixes, and reusable playbooks that make the next customer faster.

The company builds with coding agents for nearly all of its code, so the engineer's day is mostly directing those agents, reviewing changes, writing tests, and owning what reaches production.
