The role emphasizes partnering with domain experts, owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, and applying AI-driven approaches to improve processes and outcomes for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript with APIs, SQL, and deployments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and coding agents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
• Background in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a product end to end: discovery, design, build, deploy, and measure impact.
• Embed with subject-matter experts and translate problems into practical solutions.
• Build across the stack: APIs, interfaces, and integrations with property management and financial systems.
• Choose the right instrument: model, pipeline, vendor product, or process change.
• Work with the roadmap: financial intelligence, workflows, marketing, and data products.
• Drive AI code generation and set team standards for its use.

You’ll partner with the people closest to each function to understand what should work better and build the product to make it happen.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Own a product end to end: discovery, design, build, deploy, and the measurement that proves it worked
• Embed with the subject-matter expert who lives the problem and build alongside them, not from a requirements document
• Build across the stack: APIs, interfaces, and integrations against our property management and financial systems
• Choose the right instrument: a model, a deterministic pipeline, a vendor product, or a process change
• Work where the roadmap is heading: financial intelligence, operational workflow, marketing, and data products
• Drive AI codegen through the build, and help set the standard for how the team uses it

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping software that is used in production
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience working with APIs, SQL, and production deployments
• Deep familiarity with AI-assisted development and coding agents, with the judgment to use them effectively and know when not to
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to non-technical partners
• A background in computer science, software engineering, a coding bootcamp, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Comfortable working from loosely defined problems, taking ownership from idea through execution, and measuring success by outcomes
• Prior work in property management, real estate, or another operations-heavy industry
• Familiarity with Domo or other BI platforms
• Exposure to property management systems (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata)
• Experience building internal tools or automation for a non-technical business
• A side project, a small business, or a job you automated yourself
