Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with Physical AI customers, shape core infrastructure, and test new product ideas. You will write code, deploy and benchmark models, and troubleshoot production architectures alongside customer engineers.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in software engineering or ML infrastructure with ownership of a production service
• Experience working directly with customers or external engineers to scope problems and evaluate tradeoffs
• Ability to translate unfamiliar customer problems into concrete infrastructure requirements
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or agents and evaluating their outputs
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure requirements including IAM, network isolation, security, monitoring and reliability
• Strong Python and Linux skills and ability to read unfamiliar code
• Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes, including config, networking, storage, and scheduling
• Proven track record delivering usable software with incomplete requirements

Responsibilities

• Understand workloads, constraints, and production requirements of customer engineers
• Translate use cases into requirements for Cloud, Serverless, and Token Factory teams with measurements
• Identify barriers and common needs across industries; test improvements with customers
• Build agents to set up, run, and debug workloads; connect to clusters, schedulers, storage, and model servers
• Deploy and benchmark open-weight models with serving stacks and tune for customer workloads
• Build prototypes and run evaluations to assess performance, reliability, and product fit
• Assess demand and opportunities outside current product scope and validate market need
• Debug across Python, agents, model servers, Kubernetes, GPUs, networking, and storage; create reusable scripts and guides
