Rula is a remote-first company hiring in most U.S. states (excluding Hawaii). We seek a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to join our clinical tooling efforts, learn how work is done with a team, and deliver tools that dramatically reduce manual tasks for mental health care workflows.

You will ship reusable building blocks as you enable teams to move faster, with privacy baked into every layer from the start.

Formación

• 8+ years shipping production-quality software systems with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience shipping tools used weekly by customers or business teams, supported by usage telemetry.
• Deep experience learning operational workflows through observation, interviews, or data before designing software solutions.
• Daily use of coding agents with evaluation practices and privacy-by-design standards.

Responsabilidades

• Sit with a team to learn how the work gets done and ship tools they use weekly.
• Turn long tasks into faster tooling and build blocks for the next team.
• Ensure privacy is embedded from day one in the design.
