Job summary

Rula, a remote-first mental health company in the United States, is hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with clinical and product teams. You will sit with a team, understand real workflows, and ship tools used weekly, often turning multi-hour tasks into minutes while upholding privacy by design.

You will own end-to-end outcomes, deliver tools for customer teams, and help other teams adopt your solutions, advancing mental health care with scalable AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years shipping production-quality software systems with end-to-end ownership of outcomes.
• Proven track record of shipping tools or products used weekly by customers or business teams, supported by usage telemetry.
• Deep experience learning operational workflows through observation, interviews, or data before designing software solutions.
• Daily use of coding agents with rigorous evaluation practices and privacy-by-design standards.
