Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Public Sector team in the United States. You will design, develop, and deploy bespoke AI-powered solutions across defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions, collaborating with mission owners and internal teams to deliver end-to-end results on Salesforce’s platform.

You’ll work directly with customers to translate needs into technical implementations, leverage AI/LLMs, and drive end-to-end delivery while navigating secure environments

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of software engineering, solutions architecture, or systems integration.
• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
• Hands-on delivery of scalable production solutions in a professional environment.
• Experience with AI/LLM technologies and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions.
• Co-develop new platform features addressing public sector requirements.
• Integrate AI/ML models, data pipelines, and automation to enable mission-critical decisions.
• Ensure secure, compliant deployments in DoD IL5/IL6 environments.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to extend Salesforce capabilities.
