Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Project Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to lead transportation engineering efforts from start-up to closeout, delivering safe and efficient roadway projects for regional clients. You will produce design calculations, reports, and plans while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or eligible.
• Experience with roadway design and transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver transportation engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop design calculations, technical reports, and roadway plans.
• Mentor and review work of junior engineers.
• Coordinate technical aspects with clients and partners.
• Work with multiple disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Respond to project needs and support overall delivery.
