Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and deliver transportation engineering projects from start to closeout. You will develop roadway designs, oversee design calculations and reports, and mentor junior staff while ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.

The role requires guiding a team across multiple disciplines, applying design criteria, and collaborating with clients and partners on complex interchange and multimodal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience coordinating transportation engineering projects and delivering on schedule

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and distributing discipline-specific work within schedule and budget
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of the project team’s technical deliverables
• Guides and mentors team to project objectives and client satisfaction
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners
• Works with multiple disciplines on multi-discipline projects
• Performs other duties as assigned
